Leveling Kits & Front Lift in the Rio Grande Valley
Leveling kits and front lift spacers that remove the factory rake and clear one size up in tires.
How we serve Rio Grande Valley
The Rio Grande Valley is not one city but a string of them — Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy counties stacked along the river from Peñitas down to Brownsville and out toward Raymondville. Roughly 1.4 million people live here, and most of them drive a truck. We cover the whole region from three Valley locations: our McAllen and La Feria shops, plus Brownsville mobile and on-site service, with mobile units dispatched from La Feria across the lower Valley.
Regional trucks live hard. Summer heat bakes the Valley past 100°F for months, the dust off farm roads and US-83 works into every seal, and coastal Brownsville adds salt air to the mix. Agriculture runs on citrus, sugarcane and row crops across Hidalgo and Cameron, the Port of Brownsville moves steel and freight, and Winter Texans swell traffic every season. One setup has to survive all of it, in every county.
Because the region is so spread out, the right answer depends on where you are. Hidalgo County drivers usually start at McAllen; Cameron County and the mid-Valley are closest to La Feria; Brownsville and the coast are covered by mobile service. Whatever the truck does — grove work, port hauls, delivery routes or family duty — we spec one coherent setup: caps or tonneaus for locked storage, spray-on bed protection, leveling or a lift for clearance, and lighting for early starts. We quote across the whole region and route each job to the location that can turn it around fastest.
Leveling Kits & Front Lift for trucks in the Rio Grande Valley
A leveling kit is the small lift that fixes how a truck sits from the factory. Most pickups leave the plant with the nose low and the tail high, a rake meant for hauling that looks wrong when the bed is empty. Raising the front an inch or two evens the stance, fills the wheel wells, and lets you run one size taller tire without changing your steering geometry or your ride. That last part is what separates a level from a lift, and it is the part most drivers care about.
In the Valley a leveling kit earns its keep on pavement and ranch roads alike. It clears a curb at the job site, gets the front end over the mud after a hard rain, and stops the truck from looking broken when you hook up a trailer. We measure your truck first, pick the spacer or strut that matches your front suspension, and align it so it tracks straight down Highway 83 instead of wandering.
Options
- Front spacers — Steel or aluminum plates that sit on top of the factory strut and add one to two inches of front height. Cheapest way to kill the rake, and it keeps the stock springs and ride.
- Front struts — Complete struts built tall at the factory. More travel and better damping than a spacer, with no extra preload stacked on a stock spring.
- Rear blocks — Lift blocks that go between the rear leaf spring and the axle. Used when you want the whole truck up, not just the nose.
- Torsion-key leveling — For torsion-bar front ends, re-indexed keys raise the front by adjusting preload instead of bolting on a spacer.
What the job includes
- Front spacer or strut install by our own techs
- Rear blocks when you want the whole truck up
- Front-end alignment to factory spec
- Tire and wheel fitment check before you buy
- Speedometer recalibration where needed
- Torque re-check after the first 100 miles
What it costs
- Entry
- $250–$600 (front spacer leveling kit)
- Mid
- $600–$1,000 (front strut leveling kit)
- Premium
- $1,000–$1,800 (front and rear, alignment, and taller tires)
A front leveling kit is a half-day job. We pull the struts, fit the spacers or the new struts, reinstall, and align the front end to factory spec. Rear blocks add about an hour. An alignment is part of the job, not an upsell, and we do it in house before the truck leaves the lot.
How it compares
A spacer kit is the cheapest way to level, and it is fine for a truck that lives on pavement. A strut leveling kit costs more but rides better and shrugs off rough farm roads. If you want real ground clearance for off-road use, that is a lift kit, not a level, and we will tell you when you have crossed that line.

Do you serve the whole Rio Grande Valley?

Which location is closest to me?
McAllen covers the upper Valley, La Feria covers the mid-Valley and Cameron County, and mobile units from La Feria handle Brownsville and the coast.
Do you offer mobile service across the region?
We do. Mobile units dispatch from La Feria, so a working truck can be serviced on site almost anywhere in the Valley.
Do you work with farms, fleets and the port?
Yes. We handle grove and farm trucks, delivery and fleet accounts, and trucks that run the Port of Brownsville — all from the same three locations.
